As we continue to grow, we are seeking experienced and skilled Assembly Line Fitters to join our team at both our Ballinode and Carrickroe sites.

Job Description: We are looking for dedicated Assembly Line Fitters to assist in the fit-out of sub-assemblies for our mobile quarry and screening OEM customers. As an Assembly Line Fitter at McAree Engineering, you will complete the final fit out of sub-assemblies and ensure the quality and reliability of our products.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and fit sub-assemblies for mobile quarry and screening equipment.
• Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Use hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
• Perform quality checks to ensure all components meet our standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any assembly issues as they arise.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Assembly Line Fitter or similar role is highly desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Safety-conscious mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Vocational or technical certification in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• Previous experience in manufacturing equipment for the quarry and screening industry is desirable.
