High Level Curriculum

Induction

  • H&S training/Safe methods of Work
  • Pre - Kitting
  • Tertiary processing (Penn Inserts, Counter sinking and Tapping, etc)
  • Use in lasers (Fibre and CO2)
  • Use in Press Brakes (Full suite)
  • Quality Checking & inspection
  • Overview of Welding Process
  • Kitting & Packaging

Broad Responsibilities

  • Strict adherence to the company Health & Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Compliance with policies and procedures as outlined by the company and the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Advise your Manager/Team Leader of any problems arising in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all tools, equipment are maintained in a clean and serviceable condition and where appropriate are returned to the appropriate place stores after use.
  • Ensure that all Quality documentation/records are completed as soon as the appropriate tasks have been completed within the scope of authorisation issued.
  • Maintain accurate and complete time records as applicable to allocated tasks.
  • Promote good relations with other personnel and the customer in order to enhance productivity and the image of the company.
  • Ensure all work and rest areas are maintained in a clean and tidy condition.
  • Contribute with ideas to work processes in order to improve/optimise efficiency, quality and ground time.
  • Any other reasonable tasks or duties allocated to you by the company from time to time.

Candidates will learn how to competently and safely use all the above machines and receive Training Certificates

In addition, they will receive training on a range of sheet metal processing machines and hand tools
