McAree Engineering is building the new Community Centre to replace the old one on the outskirts of the village with a view to handing it over to the community in return for the old Centre which sits at the front of McAree Engineering’s factory on the outskirts of the village.

Members of the Ballinode Community Centre Committee were recently shown around the new Community Centre site by Brendan McAree to survey the progress that has taken place on the old Creamery site in the village.

McAree Engineering are committed to achieving the highest quality of engineering – from design, to fabrication, delivery and project management. They are proud to have achieved the Certification of CE Marking (EN1090) up to and including Execution Class 2 (EXC2).

McAree Engineering Ltd, a 3rd Generation Family business based in Ballinode, Co. Monaghan, today announced a €5M expansion and the creation of 30 jobs over the next 2 years.
This major investment will include:
A purpose-built 3,700m2 (40,000 square feet) factory unit with 8,000 m2 yard space, adjacent to their current facility which will double their capacity to manufacture their V-MAC range of bulk storage silos. This facility will be operational by October 2018.
