The McAree Engineering Monaghan GAA Gol Classic takes place in Rossmore Golf Club on the 6th and 7th May.

It has firmly established itself not only  as a highlight of the GAA Social Calendar but also as one of the leading Golf Classics in the region.

Celebrating 75 years in business in 2021, Ballinode based McAree Engineering have opened up a new picnic area at the entrance to the Quiglough lake, a noted local fishing spot managed by Rossmore Coarse

We are delighted to be recertified for our EC Certificate of Conformity certifying that our Factory Production Control is compliant with the CPR standard of EN1090-1:2009+a1:2011. This means we are certified to produce structural steel components and painting to EN1090 Class 2 and that our welding procedures are up to the required standard for material grades S235, S275 and S355.

McAree Engineering is building the new Community Centre to replace the old one on the outskirts of the village with a view to handing it over to the community in return for the old Centre which sits at the front of McAree Engineering’s factory on the outskirts of the village.

Members of the Ballinode Community Centre Committee were recently shown around the new Community Centre site by Brendan McAree to survey the progress that has taken place on the old Creamery site in the village.
