Celebrating 75 years in business in 2021, Ballinode based McAree Engineering have opened up a new picnic area at the entrance to the Quiglough lake, a noted local fishing spot managed by Rossmore Coarse
McAree Engineering announced the continuation of their sponsorship of the Monaghan GAA Golf Classic at the launch of this year’s event.
This long running fundraising event is now a staple of the Golfing Calendar and is recognized far and wide as being a super day’s craic for golfing Gaels both within the country and indeed across the country, with teams from the four provinces taking part.
This year’s event will take place on 25th and 26th June in Rossmore Golf Club.
McAree Engineering is building the new Community Centre to replace the old one on the outskirts of the village with a view to handing it over to the community in return for the old Centre which sits at the front of McAree Engineering’s factory on the outskirts of the village.
Members of the Ballinode Community Centre Committee were recently shown around the new Community Centre site by Brendan McAree to survey the progress that has taken place on the old Creamery site in the village.
We are delighted to be recertified for our EC Certificate of Conformity certifying that our Factory Production Control is compliant with the CPR standard of EN1090-1:2009+a1:2011. This means we are certified to produce structural steel components and painting to EN1090 Class 2 and that our welding procedures are up to the required standard for material grades S235, S275 and S355.
Over the summer period, McAree Engineering was delighted to be recertified with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2016, and ISO 45001:2018 certifications which cover Quality, Environmental, and Health & Safety management processes.
We have developed our own management system which is accredited to ISO9001:2015 (Quality), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental) & ISO 45001:2018 to ensure that everything we manufacture is off the highest quality, with minimal risk to the Environment and in the safest possible way.
Our Fabrication capability is compliant with CPR standard of EN1090-1:2009+a1:2011.
