The purchase of a new 12m 2.5m Trumpf 8000 laser which will be the largest laser bed in Ireland and the UK and will significantly increase their metal processing capacity from 150 ton per week to 230 tons per week. This laser will be installed and operational by mid-July.
The addition of an Oxylan Pre-treatment system for their Dry Powder paint plant at their Carrickroe facility which is in the final stages of commissioning.

It is expected that this investment will lead to the creation of at least 30 jobs over the next 2 years with opportunities for Mechanical Design Engineers, Sheet Metal Fabricators, and Operations staff. The recruitment program for this staff has already started.

McAree Engineering was set up in 1946 by Vincent McAree, just outside the picturesque village of Ballinode in North Monaghan. His son, Brendan McAree is the current Managing Director and three of his children are working closely with him in the business: Vincent, a qualified engineer is the Operations Director; Claire, an accountant is the Financial Controller and John is a Production Manager.
