McAree Engineering is a leading sheet metal fabrication company in Ireland, serving customers in a variety of industries for over 75 years. With significant expansion and investment in hi-tech machinery and facilities, we are seeking a Pricing/Estimator to join our production team at the Ballinode site in Co. Monaghan.

As a Pricing Executive, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in pricing, ECO management & production support. You will work alongside experienced Engineers & Autocad technicians and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing pricing estimates to customers in a timely fashion using Sigmanest Software.
• Ensure ordered jobs are made production ready with parts entered correctly on Sigmanest with a complete pre-production pack ready.
• Liaise with Purchasing to advise on material requirements.
• Liaise with Sales team to manage the Quote Queue.
• Ensuring Customer drawing updates are completed in a timely manner.
• Provide technical support for production.
• Work within a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and initiative.
• Simulate the folding of complex parts in TecZone bend

Requirements:

• Autocad proficiency/qualification is essential
• Experience of 3D CAD software like Solidworks is desirable, but not essential
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail is critical in this role.
• Excellent computer & interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and proactive approach to business needs.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Practical understanding of safe methods of work.
